Come and hire a canoe in Shropshire – Ironbridge Canoe Hire is available on the river Severn not far from Shrewsbury, Telford and Bridgnorth.
Mini-Raft Hire
You can hire our 3.3 metre rafts on our 7 mile route. Each raft holds between 2-5 people and are a great alternative to a canoe or kayak. Ideal for friends and family, and especially popular with those with younger children (minimum age 4 years). Furthermore, you can enjoy a floating picnic in your raft as you paddle down river. As well as all the equipment needed we also provide a free shuttle up to the starting point after you park your vehicle in Bridgnorth. We also have a breakfast club where you can meet us in Coalport where your trip starts and enjoy a tasty breakfast at The Brewery Inn before you head off on the river. At the end of the trip we will transport you back to your car.
Canoe and Kayak Hire
You can choose a Canadian canoe (2 or 3 seater) or a single or double sit on top kayak. Paddle our 7 mile route and enjoy the wildlife and scenery of the Shropshire countryside. As well as all the equipment needed we also provide a free shuttle up to the starting point after you park your vehicle in Bridgnorth. We also have a breakfast club where you can meet us in Coalport where your trip starts and enjoy a tasty breakfast at The Brewery Inn before you head off on the river. At the end of the trip we will transport you back to your car.
Mega SUP Hire
If you feel a little more adventurous then try our giant paddleboard which holds 5-6 people. We can accommodate up to 8 people per board if there are children in the group. Paddle our 7 mile route and enjoy the wildlife and scenery of the Shropshire countryside. As well as all the equipment needed we also provide a free shuttle up to the starting point after you park your vehicle in Bridgnorth. We also have a breakfast club where you can meet us in Coalport where your trip starts and enjoy a tasty breakfast at The Brewery Inn before you head off on the river. At the end of the trip we will transport you back to your car.
Free minibus shuttle departs from Severn Park, Bridgnorth: 10am and 11am
